ECM server memory amount?

We're still using our 4 year old servers for ECM and were told same specs would apply from v3.6 to v3.71, our HP DL 380 G4's still have only 2GB's of memory. This seems OK since perfmon never shows it using more then 1GB, but ofcourse Visicu mentioned this while they were looking into our v3.71 slowness issues. How much memory do other sites use on their ECM server?
BTW, we are a 100 bed site with many using it for full documentation.

We just invested in brand new servers last year so now all our boxes are using 16GB of memory. Our staging has 4 GB of ram. Can you at least upgrade to 4?

Since we're still 32bit the server shoud see up to 4GB, but as mentioned, the server never seems to use more then 1GB of memory, how much does your ECM server actaully use of its memory?

The system uses 1.5 GB of Memory on one app server and 1.8GB of Memory on the other app server. The page files are 1GB and 1.3GB respectively. I'm not sure what accounts for the 500MB of difference.
